Von Aegir Literary

About

Picture
Von Aegir Literary is a literary publication seeking poetry inspired by the Fire Emblem franchise of video games, founded in 2021 by Editor-in-Chief Heath Joseph Wooten. Von Aegir seeks your midnight character studies, your uphill battles, your wars with god. We want your necessary sacrifices, your fragile romances, your confessions over tea.

We welcome submissions inspired by any game, character, or storyline in the franchise. These connections can be as close to the source or as tenuous as you would like, though we prefer work that pushes beyond the source material into fresh creative territory.

As we realize our focus is rather niche, we welcome work from everybody, including those who are unfamiliar with Fire Emblem. If you desire clarification on what is appropriate for Von Aegir, feel free to email us at vonaegirliterary@gmail.com.
